Using topographical shareware I interpreted information from photographs and memory to create these 3D wireframe landscapes. Appearing as a topographical grid they reveal the landscape morphology, but the density of tone, and the land characteristics are only obvious from a distance. They are a survey of landscapes that are deeply familiar to me, stripped of their nostalgia and romanticism with the intension of creating a detached, neutral view.
